Our website is built on WordPress and uses cookies solely for functionality and performance. No advertising or tracking cookies are used beyond what is necessary for the website to operate correctly.
4. Award Entries
Entry is open to eligible individuals, businesses, or teams within the specified categories listed on the Blue Light Awards website.
To enter, select your desired category, complete the entry form on our awards platform, and submit any required materials (e.g. logo or image).
You may enter multiple categories, provided each entry meets the criteria set out for that category.
Only submissions via the online platform will be accepted.
Entries that are incomplete or do not follow the format may be disqualified.
5. Eligibility
Awards are open to professionals and organisations based in each respective region, as outlined during each regional campaign.
Sponsors may not enter the category they are sponsoring.
6. Attendance
If shortlisted, you agree to attend or send a representative to the awards ceremony in your region. Event details, including location and date, will be confirmed individually per region.
7. Judging Process
The judging panel will assess entries based on the criteria stated per category and may use publicly available information to support their decisions.
Judges will declare any conflicts of interest and act impartially.
Judging discussions are confidential and final. No correspondence will be entered into.
Judges will delete all materials post-judging or return them to the Blue Light Awards team.
Categories with a high volume of entries may be subdivided. In rare cases, categories may be withdrawn at the organiser’s discretion.
8. Data & Confidentiality
By entering, you consent to your information being used for judging, awards night presentations, our e-zine, post-event PR, and marketing.
Please mark any sensitive or confidential information clearly in your submission.
All personal data will be processed securely in accordance with GDPR and stored only for as long as necessary.
9. Photography & Media
Award events may be professionally photographed or recorded. Attendance indicates consent to be filmed or photographed.
All media captured is the property of Blue Light Awards and may be used for promotional purposes across digital and print platforms.
10. Tickets & Cancellations
Tickets for awards ceremonies must be paid in full within 7 days of invoice or no later than 7 days before the event, whichever is sooner.
Cancellations made more than 28 days before an event may be eligible for a refund. No refunds will be issued within 28 days of the event.
You may nominate a substitute attendee at no extra cost. Requests must be submitted in writing to info@bluelightawards.com.
If an event is cancelled in full, a full refund will be issued within 28 days.
